The North Staffordshire Point-to-Point at Sandon, on Easter Saturday - 19th April 2025, will be run again in association with Broad Oak Group.

15th April 2025 - Tuesday, we are putting a good Soaking onto the bumper line to keep it safe for the young horses, and will water again tomorrow as normal to keep ahead of the weather.

13th April 2025 - Sunday, the course is level with a good covering of grass, and we have watered again today to maintain GOOD ground. The forecast is for 10mm of rain on Tuesday and 13mm on Wednesday. We will continue to water dpending on the amount of rain that arrives.

12th April 2025 - The kicker boards have been put on the fences - the ground was giving under the grass cover. Many thanks to all the volunteers who came to put out and paint the stakes, and ropes and tents are all up and ready for Easter Saturday.

11th April 2025 - The course was watered again on Thursday 10th April, and we are watering again today. Going is GOOD at the moment, and Wwatering will continue daily as required to ensure safe racing ground, with rain still expected on Sunday and after this weekend.

8th April 2025 - The course was watered again on Tuesday 8th April. Watering will continue daily as required to ensure safe racing ground, with some rain expected over this weekend.

7th April 2025 - The course was watered today, Monday 7th April. Watering will continue daily as required to ensure safe racing ground, with some rain expected over this weekend.

6th April 2025 - The course is level with an excellent covering of grass. The ground was slit this morning followed by watering, Sunday 6th April. Watering will continue daily as required to ensure safe racing ground. Further updates to follow.

In 2025, the North Staffs Point-to-Point are very proud to have been chosen yet again to hold the NW Area Feature Race for the Scally Muire Trophy. We are also pleased to announce that we will be hosting a Flat race again. The PPORA have been extremely generous in helping to fund Sandon Races, and their race will provide prize money to the first 6 finishers.

This year's event will be held on Easter Saturday 19th April 2025 at Sandon Estate near Stone. The first race is due at 1.00 p.m.
